Duffy Dillon
Duffy Dillon, a shareholder of Brennan Steil, is a litigator who focuses his practice on business disputes, insurance defense, personal injury, and criminal defense matters. He has handled litigation at both the trial and appellate levels involving trademark infringement, trade secrets, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, insurance coverage litigation, consumer protection, riparian rights, zoning and land use, and personal injury matters.
Mr. Dillon was named by Wisconsin Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Mr. Dillon has been admitted to practice in all Wisconsin State Courts, the U.S. District Courts in the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court in the Central District of Illinois, and multiple state courts on a pro hac vice basis. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the Rock County Bar Association (Past President).
Mr. Dillon earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Notre Dame in 1997. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000. While attending law school, he served as Senior Administrative Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review and published "Child Custody and the Developmentally Disabled Parent," 2000 Wisconsin Law Review 127.
Mr. Dillon currently serves as a director of the Janesville Performing Arts Center (Past President) and the Janesville Youth Baseball & Softball Association. He resides in Janesville with his wife and two children.
